Salem Oregon Area Restaurants Open on Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day options in and around Salem for eating out on Thanksgiving Day.  Which restaurants are open?  Be sure to call ahead to find out whether they will be serving their regular menu or a Thanksgiving Buffet, times that they are open,  and whether or not you will need reservations.  Have a favorite place to eat out for Thanksgiving or Christmas that isn't on here?  Please add it in the comment section.

On a side note did you also see that Walmart is also going to be open on Thanksgiving? No holiday for those guys. Bummer!

Hi Patty-we love the leftovers also.  We are still eating them.  I worked at one of the above places about 18 years ago.  You wouldn't believe how busy we were on Thanksgiving and Christmas for the buffets.

Jessica-I couldn't agree more.  This is the first year Walmart has been open.  Sears was open this also.  Kmart has been open for a few years.  It's too bad the employees don't get to spend time with their families on the holiday.

Reason why stores are open on holidays? Greed`s the name of the game.Also,there`s stuff the sheep just have to have so they got to keep the sheep&lemmings happy & roll in the almighty dollar. I grew up in A time when the blue laws were in effect, no sunday& holiday shopping. the animals weren`t out trampeling each other. verrry peaceful,And they call this progress?
